Systagenix Wound Management, a global wound-care provider of about 800 employees, experienced rapid growth and a sharp increase in faxed orders after a management buyout. The company needed to streamline customer care, handle higher order volumes, minimize work-in-progress, eliminate lost or duplicate orders, and reduce manual keying errors.
Esker conducted a process audit and deployed its Esker on Demand order-processing automation (integrated with SAP), initially across 15 European countries with the U.S. rollout planned. The solution eliminated paper, automated archiving and email handling, improved order visibility and historical record access, reduced manual data entry and duplicate-fax errors, and enabled better service-level tracking through ongoing collaboration.
