Crestron Electronics, a global leader in control and automation systems, needed to automate customer communications after going live with SAP in 2003. Clerks were manually faxing 300–500 multi‑page order confirmations daily and customers repeatedly called for shipment status, creating inefficiency and limiting service quality.

In 2004 Crestron implemented Esker DeliveryWare to automatically send order confirmations, invoices and delivery/pickup notifications by email or fax, integrated with SAP and using Crystal Reports for document formatting. The solution cut support calls and manual faxing, reduced paper, improved customer satisfaction and provided a low‑maintenance, scalable communications workflow.
