A Esker Case Study
Imperial Brands, a global FMCG firm with 30,000 employees and £30bn in annual revenue, needed to reshape its procurement from a legacy Source-to-Contract model to a “demand to enablement” approach. Their incumbent S2C solution suffered low adoption (around 25%), fragmented data and reporting, inefficient workflows and rising overheads, so the team sought a more agile, user-friendly tool to improve speed, cost control and risk management.
They chose Market Dojo’s Sourcing SaaS for its ease of use, rapid implementation and templated eRFx capabilities; the platform went live in under six weeks for 83 users across nine regions and was paired with unified PowerBI reporting. Results included a fivefold increase in sourcing events, integration of ~3,500 projects, average savings of 8.6% on RFQs (7.3% on auctions), more than £7.6m saved, and an overall ROI north of 6,000%, alongside strong user adoption and improved compliance.
