Coty, a global beauty company with over 50 brands across Consumer Beauty, Luxury and Professional divisions, faced complexity in handling more than 12,000 annual deduction documents processed entirely on paper. Manual printing of emails and EDI, lack of process visibility, allocation errors and slow, error-prone workflows made it difficult to validate and allocate advertising charges and other customer deductions in SAP.
Coty implemented Esker Claims & Deductions to automate data capture, classification (ML-driven), SAP allocation and validation workflows, plus role-based dashboards for AR, CS and Sales. The change delivered 100% process visibility, cut collections from 59.7 to 26.5 days (≈57% reduction), reduced receipt-to-resolution times from ~60 days to 1 day, lowered errors and processing time, and enabled wider rollout and mobile approvals.
