Case Study: Fassi Gru achieves real-time crane control and predictive maintenance with Eseye

A Eseye Case Study

Preview of the Fassi Gru Case Study

Fassi Gru connects 12,000 cranes a year with Eseye

Fassi Gru, a leading manufacturer of articulated and hydraulic cranes, faced the challenge of providing constant, dependable internet connectivity for its innovative Internet of Cranes® (IoC) system. Its cranes operate globally in demanding environments, but fragmented cellular coverage and varying network technologies made reliable, real-time data transmission a monumental task. Fassi Gru partnered with vendor Eseye to find a ubiquitous connectivity solution that would work anywhere in the world with a single SIM.

Eseye, working with partner Micro Systems, implemented its AnyNet SIM cards with multi-IMSI technology to deliver the universal connectivity required. This solution provided access to over 800 networks globally, allowing the IoC system to collect and transmit vital crane data to the cloud securely. The results for Fassi Gru included enabling rapid remote diagnosis, swift malfunction resolution, and the introduction of predictive maintenance, which improved uptime and allowed operators to optimize operational efficiency across their entire fleet.
