Wizz Air Hungary - Customer Case Study

Wizz Air Hungary faced compatibility, performance and support issues with its previous antivirus that interfered with critical airline applications and degraded server and workstation performance. The Budapest-based carrier selected ESET—deploying ESET NOD32 Antivirus with ESET Remote Administrator (ERAS) and ESET Mail Security—to find a lightweight, centrally managed solution that met its operational requirements.

ESET implemented ERAS-based testing, then rolled out ESET NOD32 and Mail Security across the estate, ultimately protecting 500 client PCs across 13 sites and extending protection to file/print servers and the MS Exchange server that handles tens of thousands of messages daily. The ESET deployment delivered load-balanced updates to preserve bandwidth, reduced endpoint slowdowns, simplified administration and earned positive user feedback for being effective and easy to manage.
