A ESET Case Study
Theater Josefstadt, a leading Vienna theatre, faced an obsolete antivirus system that needed modern protection with rapid updates and minimal performance impact. After researching antivirus vendors, the theatre chose ESET and its ESET NOD32 / ESET Endpoint Security products to meet its requirements for strong detection, compatibility and low resource use.
ESET implemented ESET Endpoint Security across the theatre’s Windows NT/2000/XP fleet, using the Remote Administrator Console for a central push installation to 56 clients and employing the NOD32 Update Mirror to cut network load. The result: the old AV was fully replaced with a resource‑sparing, unobtrusive solution that delivered significantly better recognition rates, reduced network traffic and problem‑free operation for the theatre.
