Secura Partners with ESET to Strengthen Their Security Offering

Secura, a specialist in flexible, highly available cloud hosting, needed to add anti‑virus capability to its Virtual Private Cloud infrastructure and to Web Protect, its managed cloud security suite, to defend customers’ applications from viruses, malware, rootkits, worms and spyware while keeping system performance impact minimal. Secura selected ESET and implemented ESET’s file security and anti‑virus protection for Windows and Linux servers.

ESET delivered enterprise‑grade file security and anti‑malware through its partner program and was integrated into Secura’s Web Protect offering when it launched in May 2017. The ESET solution protected Secura’s own infrastructure and its Virtual Private Cloud customers, and — cited by Secura’s CEO as a key factor — helped drive the rapid success and take‑up of the Web Protect service by providing comprehensive, low‑impact managed anti‑malware.
