A ESET Case Study
Gumley House Convent School, a West London girls’ school with about 1,200 students and over 600 PCs, suffered a network virus outbreak despite up-to-date signatures. The school called in IT specialist Innovit and ESET, deploying ESET Endpoint Antivirus (with ESET Remote Administrator) to address the infection and protect its curriculum-critical computers.
Innovit used ESET Endpoint Antivirus and ESET Remote Administrator to deploy and manage scans from a single console, scanning, quarantining, disinfecting and deleting threats across the network; ESET identified more than 2,000 copies of the initial infection plus additional malware. The cleanup restored the network to full working order, gave Gumley House confidence in ongoing protection through Innovit’s management, and left the school with measurable detection results and improved endpoint security thanks to ESET.
