Gardners Books, a leading UK independent wholesaler of books and media, required more reliable email protection for its Exchange 2013 DAG environment after external mail scanners allowed more items to slip onto client PCs. Already using ESET for File Server and Endpoint security, Gardners Books again turned to ESET and selected ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server to provide an extra layer of server-side email protection.

ESET deployed ESET Mail Security, integrating antivirus and antispam filtering at the server level and managed via ESET Remote Administrator. The solution delivered a higher catch rate for previously missed threats, minimal server overhead with no measurable performance impact, and faster, more reliable service—reducing the number of malicious items reaching users and strengthening Gardners Books’ mail database protection.
