ESET Endpoint Antivirus A Roaring Success at Marwell

Marwell Zoo, a conservation charity operating Marwell Zoological Park, faced rising problems with aging PCs and an antivirus solution (Norton) that was too resource‑hungry and ill‑suited to remote VPN users. Seeking a low‑footprint product with strong detection and low false positives, Marwell turned to ESET and evaluated ESET Endpoint Antivirus (NOD32) to protect keepers, administration staff and off‑site VPN users.

ESET implemented ESET Endpoint Antivirus together with ESET Remote Administrator, providing a lightweight, centrally managed solution that automatically updates over VPN and was extended to email and NAS servers. The deployment delivered measurable impact: minimal CPU/memory use, simpler remote support, and—according to Marwell’s IT manager—“we’ve not suffered a single infection since we started using it,” making the project a clear success for ESET and Marwell Zoo.
