City Hall of Palmela, a municipality in Portugal managing a network of roughly 750 workstations across schools and municipal offices, needed a centrally managed, easy-to-deploy security solution as the number of endpoints grew. They selected ESET, deploying products including ESET Remote Administrator, ESET Endpoint Security and ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange to address centralized management and email protection needs.

ESET implemented the Remote Administrator console and rolled out lightweight ESET Endpoint clients and Mail Security on the server, resulting in more than 750 protected workstations with spam and malware filtered before reaching users’ mailboxes. The ESET deployment simplified administration, delivered effective, low-impact endpoint protection across the municipality and has been running successfully for several years.
