Chelles town hall, which also manages the Marne and Chantereine municipalities, oversees 85 sites, more than 800 workstations and two data centers and sought to strengthen information security, implement a second data center for DRP/BCP, unify networks via UTM and deploy robust antivirus/anti‑spyware protection. After a tender process, the municipality selected ESET and its ESET NOD32 Antivirus product to meet these requirements.

ESET delivered an automated, low‑footprint deployment—500 PCs were rolled out automatically and incident‑free in a single day and a further 300 PCs in schools—backed by a simple remote administration console and an automated migration by ESET France. The implementation protected 1,023 seats, met the IS department’s needs, and left the IT chief fully satisfied and recommending ESET.
