A ESET Case Study
Budapest College of Communications and Busines, a state‑accredited private institute in Hungary, needed reliable, low‑impact protection for student workstations running Office, Adobe and DTP tools while users browsed, downloaded demos and stored sensitive records. Previous antivirus vendors either stopped updating signatures or offered no central management, so the college selected ESET and deployed ESET Endpoint Antivirus (NOD32) to address those gaps.
ESET implemented a centrally managed, low‑resource antivirus solution with easy deployment and automatic updates. As a result, ESET now protects the college’s environment (400 seats), administrators report noticeably faster systems and applications, simplified central administration and, according to the college, not a single virus infection since deployment.
