Global Finance & Insurance Corporation, a global finance and insurance firm operating in more than 80 countries, needed to migrate ten data sources to an AWS-hosted data lake for its life and retirement business unit. With Cognizant leading the migration, erwin helped move data from four legacy systems into the data lake, producing more than 200 source-to-target mappings; automation cut effort and time roughly in half versus spreadsheets and yielded multi-fold productivity gains (>85%) and improved visibility/productivity (>70%), plus complete traceability, versioning and auditability.
