How PeroxyChem Nearly Eliminated All SoD Conflicts with Access Analyzer

PeroxyChem, a global manufacturer of hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid and related technologies, faced a major compliance challenge after an internal audit: they needed to identify and report all segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts across their SAP environment but lacked the right tools and reporting capability. ERP Maestro’s Access Analyzer—introduced to PeroxyChem by their audit firm—was implemented on a cloud-based Enterprise Plan, enabling daily SoD analysis, remediation and documentation of mitigating controls. Using ERP Maestro’s solution, PeroxyChem reduced SoD conflicts by 97%, moved to monthly monitoring to keep the environment clean, and is now planning to deploy Emergency Access and Secure & Compliant Provisioning to strengthen preventive controls.
