Quality Custom Distribution (QCD), a division of Golden State Foods, manages more than 35,000 refrigerated deliveries each week across 25 U.S. distribution centers. To replace a costly and unreliable manual temperature-monitoring process for its reefer trailers, QCD partnered with EROAD and deployed its reefer fleet management solution.

EROAD implemented continuous, automated cold chain monitoring across QCD’s entire trailer fleet, including CoreTemp, which uses AI and predictive analytics to simulate product temperature and eliminate manual checks. The solution gave QCD real-time compliance visibility, reduced labor and data-entry costs, improved quality assurance, and helped cut waste—while also enabling QCD to set stronger temperature standards for its customers and competitors.
