North Santiam Paving uses EROAD to improve scheduling, dispatching, fleet utilization and fleet maintenance

North Santiam Paving, a family-run heavy civil construction firm serving the Mid-Willamette Valley and Western Forest regions since 1974, needed a better way to manage vehicle safety, maintenance, weight-mile tax reporting, and driver paperwork across multiple, geographically dispersed job sites. To solve these challenges they partnered with EROAD, adopting the Ehubo in-vehicle device along with EROAD’s Depot web application and Service Module to replace paper-based processes.

EROAD installed Ehubo devices in 26 trucks and enabled electronic tax management, automatic distance capture, exempt-mile reporting, and proactive maintenance scheduling via the Service Module. The solution removed driver paperwork, automated accurate weight-mile tax calculations and recordkeeping, improved scheduling, dispatching and fleet utilization, and delivered significant monthly time savings for drivers and the team handling taxes.
