Text Messaging Centre, UK expands the scope of its enterprise messaging services

Text Messaging Centre (TMC), UK, a leading business SMS provider, wanted to expand its enterprise messaging services beyond the UK while maintaining reliable delivery and cost-effective operations. To meet this challenge, TMC partnered with Ericsson and used the Ericsson IPX Bulk Messaging service, along with SMS Long Numbers, to support global text messaging for its customers.

Ericsson implemented a resilient, web-based messaging solution with direct connections to more than 220 countries and up to 20 backup channels per destination, giving TMC a single aggregator for extensive global reach. As a result, TMC could reach mobile phones across Europe and expand into parts of the Middle East, Asia and Australia, while sending over 100 messages per second with improved reliability and secure delivery.
