The operator needed to boost coverage and performance while minimizing opex and capex, and it wanted a solution aligned with its long-term strategy rather than simply adding more sites.
Ericsson provided a consultative network strategy, including network design, optimization, project management, and selective deployment of its latest radio technology. As a result, XL Axiata improved network quality KPIs by 50 percent and increased coverage by 60 percent, all without adding new sites, which reduced total cost of ownership and helped increase customer additions and market share.
