Magyar Telekom awarded ‘Best in Test’ following network enhancements

Magyar Telekom, one of Hungary’s leading telecom providers and part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, faced intense competition in a crowded market where network quality strongly प्रभावित brand perception. To stand out and meet rising demand for data-heavy mobile usage, the company worked with Ericsson as part of its Best Performing Network initiative and sought to perform well in the P3 Communications “Best in Test” benchmarking audit.

Ericsson delivered network analysis, auditing, tuning, and pre-benchmarking services, including the rollout of Hungary’s first carrier aggregation solution and multiple 3G/LTE parameter and feature optimizations. The improvements boosted file speeds by more than 40%, enhanced retainability and accessibility, and helped Magyar Telekom win the P3 “Best in Test” award, giving it the fastest network in Hungary.
