Ericsson’s learning and consulting services help Telecom Egypt to stay agile

Telecom Egypt, Egypt’s leading telecommunications operator and original fixed-line provider, needed to adapt to a more competitive market after changes in the local telecom landscape. To strengthen its long-term strategy, Telecom Egypt turned to Ericsson for learning and consulting services focused on its IT arm, including competence consulting and management function consulting.

Ericsson acted as Prime Integrator and, with Capgemini, delivered a bespoke business situation and competence analysis built around close engagement with Telecom Egypt’s management and staff. The work defined roles and responsibilities, highlighted competence gaps, and helped the organization better use existing resources; while no numerical KPI was disclosed, Ericsson’s solution was described as providing expert knowledge, a tailored approach, and a stronger foundation for future agility and growth.
