Ericsson successfully deploys a comprehensive Network Operations Center for Nedjma in Algeria

Nedjma, the Algerian mobile operator launched by Wataniya Telecom Algeria, wanted to reduce operational costs, future-proof its Network Management System (NMS), and improve its competitive position as subscriber demand and network complexity grew. Ericsson worked with Nedjma to define the requirements for a unified alarm monitoring and network management solution, drawing on its experience in Network Operations Centers and systems integration.

Ericsson implemented a centralized, end-to-end Network Operations Center using Ericsson management products such as Network IQ, OSS Navigator, and Resolution, alongside 3PP tools like HP TeMIP and Eyevis. The solution gave Nedjma full network visibility, automated processes, and improved efficiency across the organization, helping reduce drop calls and improve coverage. Ericsson’s work also positioned Nedjma to operate as a leaner, more future-ready multimedia operator in Algeria.
