The Perse School Delivers Flexible Access to Applications for Teachers and Pupils with Ericom's AccessNow

The Perse School, a leading independent school, needed to give teachers secure, flexible remote access and to extend Chromebook capabilities so pupils could use traditional desktop applications as well as web apps. To solve this, The Perse School chose Ericom Software and deployed its browser‑based AccessNow technology together with RemoteView to support BYOD and tablet use across the school.

Ericom Software implemented RemoteView and AccessNow, delivering a web login experience that was rolled out in under a week and now supports around 300 staff on any device or operating system while strengthening security and reducing IT support overhead. Pupils can also run Windows applications such as Excel and PowerPoint from Chromebooks via Ericom’s platform, with the school planning to scale remote access to as many as 1,000 upper‑school pupils.
