FCx Performance, Inc., a Columbus-based distributor with 16 locations and over 235 employees, faced slow or unusable access to vendors' Flash-heavy online catalogues from Wyse thin clients over low-bandwidth VPN links. Their terminal server farm and connection broker did not provide RDP acceleration, so FCx sought a solution from Ericom Software and evaluated the Ericom Blaze product.

Ericom Software deployed Ericom Blaze on the Columbus server and on remote Wyse clients, integrating it with FCx's existing connection broker. Blaze compressed and accelerated Flash and graphics over RDP, restoring catalogue access, enabling faster sales closures, increasing sales-team productivity, reducing IT support calls, and avoiding costly network capacity upgrades.
