British Loss Adjuster Saves up to £100,000 Over Four Years with Ericom's RemoteView

GAB Robins, a UK-based loss adjuster, needed to reduce IT operating costs, provide flexible access to its central claims management system for about 550 employees, and address an aging estate of 280 desktop PCs. To meet these challenges the company replaced Citrix Metaframe with Ericom Software’s PowerTerm WebConnect RemoteView.

Ericom Software implemented RemoteView to centrally deliver applications to desktops, thin clients, tablets and mobile staff, enabling office, home and field access (including 50 mobile loss adjusters). The move cut annual support, maintenance and license costs by around £5,500, enabled deferral of roughly £84,000 in PC replacements, delivered 100% uptime over nine months and produced total potential savings of up to £100,000 over four years.
