MEDTRON AG improves HMI usability for contrast injections with Ergosign in a short project timeframe

Medtron AG, a leading international manufacturer of contrast fluid injectors, required a new human-machine interface (HMI) for their ACCUTRON® CT-D VISION system to ensure precise injections and clear patient status visibility in both light and dark clinical environments. They partnered with Ergosign GmbH to develop an intuitive HMI that would meet strict medical device standards and enhance usability for medical staff.

Ergosign GmbH addressed this challenge through a human-centered design process involving context analysis, wireframing, and user validation. The resulting HMI is clearly structured for quick comprehension and intuitive operation, with a particularly effective dark theme for low-light conditions. The solution, developed in close collaboration with Medtron, achieved high user-friendliness and was successfully handed over for implementation, leaving the client extremely satisfied with the partnership and the enhanced final product.
