Sportano is a modern multi-brand online retailer selling sports goods across Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. Faced with a need to define efficient product description processes, add a very large and diverse assortment quickly, and scale a dynamic team, Sportano chose Ergonode and implemented Ergonode PIM to support its online expansion and the objective of reaching an operational capacity to describe 1,000 products per day.

Ergonode implemented a PIM-driven workflow (Streamsoft Verto -> Ergonode -> ecommerce platform), helped define product lifecycles and responsibilities, and was deployed in two months. Using Ergonode PIM, Sportano’s Product Content team created the initial 1,000-product catalog in under two months and scaled to over 100,000 products in six months while growing the team from 5 to 30 people, enabling rapid market launches in PL and additional markets (CZ, HU, RO).
