Sportano, a sports and outdoor retailer, needed a way to rapidly describe and onboard a very large and growing product assortment across many categories as it prepared to expand into new markets. With Ergonode PIM, the company aimed to establish an effective product content process, support a fast-growing team, and manage the complexity of launching thousands of products quickly.

Ergonode implemented its PIM platform in just two months, helping Sportano launch in the Polish market and then expand into additional European markets including the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania. The initial assortment of 1,000 products was described in under two months by a five-person Product Content team, and the product base later grew to more than 200,000 products across 300+ categories, with the product content team expanding to 30 people.
