How UV Insurance Realized Their Vision of Increased Efficiency

UV Insurance, a fast-growing insurer in Quebec, faced significant challenges due to an aging, in-house legacy policy administration system. The DOS-based system created inefficient, manual workflows that slowed down new business processing and product development, hindering the company's growth. To tackle this, they sought a modern policy onboarding solution and partnered with vendor Equisoft to implement their integrated suite, which included Equisoft/apply.

Equisoft implemented an end-to-end solution featuring Equisoft/apply, Equisoft/illustrate, and the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration platform. This transformation automated the policy submission and approval process, enabling advisors to create illustrations, complete e-applications, and obtain e-signatures from clients anywhere. The results were a streamlined workflow, a greatly improved advisor and customer experience, and six new products being successfully launched on the modernized platform, setting UV Insurance up for future growth.
