Stone Stewart Moss (SSM), a North American financial services company, was struggling with inefficient, manual processes for its insurance business, relying on error-prone spreadsheets for tasks like sales follow-ups and commission management. Their existing US system was costly and slow to modify. Seeking to automate its operations, the Canadian affiliate turned to Equisoft and implemented the Equisoft/centralize agency management system.
Equisoft/centralize provided a highly configurable platform that automated data exchange, queries, and commission processing. This solution enabled SSM to move nearly all of its workflows from manual to automated processing. The results were transformative: the system now manages 68,000 contracts and has processed over 2.5 million transactions. Automation led to SSM becoming one of the most efficient distributors in Canada, with over 60% of sales completed electronically and a significant increase in advisor satisfaction due to accurate, timely commission payments.
