YES Network, a New York–based regional sports television network, relied on an on‑premises Playbook application to find and play archived footage for games and highlight shows. As their media library grew, the legacy ASP/.NET app and on‑premises SQL Server increasingly struggled with large files and long run times, causing inadequate performance and upload limitations.

Nimbo upgraded the application stack and migrated the Playbook app to Microsoft Azure—modernizing ASP/.NET, moving the database to Azure SQL, and implementing Azure Websites and Azure AD Premium for authentication—enabling streaming of 2–3 hour videos and uploads over 2 GB. The migration improved performance and scalability, reduced database maintenance, and allowed YES Network to automatically scale storage as its media library grows.
