V-Traffic (Mediamobile) is a leading provider of real-time traffic and mobility information used by vehicle manufacturers, broadcasters and navigation services across Europe. Because its service processes massive, time-critical data for hundreds of thousands of terminals, even a short delay can make information useless; V-Traffic therefore required extremely high backend and network reliability, low latency, rapid failover, extensive customization and a global partner.

V-Traffic moved its main production platform onto Platform Equinix, deploying a two-data-center solution with load balancing, full redundancy and an Interconnection Oriented Architecture to bring its apps closer to users. The change reduced latency, improved uptime and performance, delivered the required customization and international capacity, and ensured reliable, real-time delivery of traffic data to its customers.
