Tram System levels up cloud-based communication services

Tram System, a provider of cloud-based voice communication services, wanted to add a new NICE CXone-based contact center offering while combining it with its existing services into one cloud platform. To do this, Tram System needed secure, low-latency connectivity across its infrastructure in Tokyo and Osaka and a path to support future international expansion, and it worked with Equinix Fabric and Equinix data centers to meet that challenge.

Equinix provided the digital infrastructure and private connections Tram System needed to launch TramOneCloud CXi, integrating CCaaS with Voice as a Service and Unified Communications as a Service. The dual-metro setup improved reliability and continuity, and the platform has already exceeded Tram System’s initial business-acquisition target by more than 130%; with Equinix, Tram System now also has a foundation for future AWS, Azure, and additional SaaS integrations.
