Ontario Systems, a provider of revenue recovery software and the Contact Savvy™ SaaS contact management platform, needed to transform its IT and interconnection infrastructure to support latency-sensitive VoIP services and reduce customers’ networking complexity and cost. Many customers relied on costly dedicated links and on-prem routers to reach Contact Savvy, so Ontario sought a single, multicloud-connected location to deliver fast, secure connectivity and simplify onboarding.
Working with Datapipe and Equinix, Ontario Systems deployed an Interconnection Oriented Architecture on Platform Equinix and the Equinix Cloud Exchange, creating an active‑active 10 Gbps, highly redundant fabric that links AWS, other clouds and customers. The result: consistent single‑digit cloud‑to‑cloud latency (about 2 ms) and under 50 ms to customers, up to 50% lower networking costs for customers, faster provisioning (hours vs. days), no single point of failure, and improved VoIP call quality and scalability.
