Netplus relies on highly reliable and secure Equinix data centres to develop its Cloud Santé service

Netplus, a longtime technical partner to the French public sector and specialist in high‑availability healthcare hosting (HDS‑approved since 2013), created the Cloud Santé® sovereign cloud to support connected‑health and telemedicine services. After disruptive incidents at a previous provider, Netplus needed an ISO27001‑grade, internationally present data‑centre partner offering fully redundant infrastructure, low‑latency synchronous replication and broad operator connectivity to ensure service continuity and security.

Netplus chose Equinix PA2 and PA3 on the St‑Denis campus, using independent but fiber‑linked sites to run an active/active multi‑site business continuity plan with synchronous replication, quarterly failover testing and direct peering to 160 operators. The deployment reduced transit costs, simplified future interconnection to other Paris sites and international Equinix locations, and was rolled out in under six months (operational in less than four), delivering improved redundancy, consistent global service delivery and the required security posture.
