Ingresso Rápido is a Brazilian ticketing and box-office services company that manages sales, distribution and event operations across the country. Facing extreme seasonal spikes in demand, the company needed to eliminate latency and performance issues that threatened sales during peak ordering periods — its legacy setup supported only about 500 tickets per second and experienced roughly 50 ms latency.
Ingresso Rápido moved to a hybrid cloud on Platform Equinix (Tamboré), combining private hosting with a direct Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute connection and Equinix interconnection services. The change boosted simultaneous sales capacity to more than 6,000 tickets per second, cut latency by 94% (from 50 ms to 3 ms), improved speed and availability, reduced internet bandwidth costs, and preserved a secure private environment for critical internal processes.
