Outscale, a Dassault Systèmes–founded IaaS provider serving ISVs and startups in IoT, Big Data, machine learning and smart cities, needed to broaden its global footprint to deliver “follow the sun” cloud services with flexibility, seamless expansion and enterprise-grade security. The company sought a data‑center partner with professional standards and global reach to support workload replication, local scaling and new market opportunities.

Outscale deployed its cloud in Equinix PA4 (Pantin/Paris) and established presences in Equinix metros in New York and San Francisco, using Equinix Cloud Exchange for on‑demand direct connections to multiple cloud services. The solution enabled scalable automated compute, storage and backup, gave customers worldwide easy access to Outscale offerings, and supported an interoperable API and operations throughput of around 10,000 queries/second—accelerating the company’s international growth.
