LANCE! is Brazil’s largest independent sports media group, founded in 1997, reaching some 15 million daily readers across Diário LANCE!, LANCE.COM.BR, LANCE!Mobile and LANCE!TV with a newsroom of 210 specialists. The portal faced recurring downtime and needed to guarantee stable, high-performance access during major events (anticipating a 40% traffic increase for Rio 2016), so it sought a partner to scale and stabilize its infrastructure for peak demand.

Equinix delivered a Performance Assessment and reconfigured LANCE!’s private cloud and network, balancing virtual servers and migrating the mobile environment onto its platform.
