Equinix and iCITA powering Hypernode — global DRaaS and hybrid solutions

iCITA, an international consultancy and infrastructure group, launched Hypernode to offer high-availability disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) and hybrid cloud solutions as a differentiated alternative to commoditized IaaS. Facing customer demands for data sovereignty, low latency across Asia‑Pacific, and secure connectivity to public cloud providers, iCITA needed a global partner to scale reliably while keeping data in-region.

By partnering with Equinix and leveraging its Sydney facilities (SY2, SY3) plus iCITA’s private site, Hypernode delivers a consistent, carrier-dense platform with connections to major public clouds. The solution enables regional expansion (planned Melbourne, Hong Kong, Singapore), over 120 network carriers, sub‑120 ms China–Sydney connectivity, secure direct cloud peering, and growing interest from international customers to enter the Australian market.
