EPS Cloud helps one of the world’s largest art museums deploy a completely autonomous cloud infrastructure

Equinix Professional Services for Cloud (EPS Cloud) worked with one of the world’s largest New York City museums that needed flexible, location-independent access to critical systems. The museum required a single-sign-on approach for Workday, Exchange Online, Lync and SharePoint that would be independent of its on-premises infrastructure; designing an open, customizable authentication mechanism was the primary barrier to cloud adoption.

EPS Cloud conducted a detailed assessment of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server 2012, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and read-only domain controllers, then partnered with the museum’s engineers to design and implement a secure, scalable authentication solution. The result is an autonomous cloud infrastructure that reduces dependence on the on-site data center, delivers high-availability access for staff, and can scale as the museum adds more cloud services.
