Working with Telstra and Equinix, carsales adopted an Interconnection Oriented Architecture, hosted core applications in Equinix’s Melbourne IBX, and used Telstra Programmable Network with Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric for secure, on‑demand hybrid‑cloud connectivity to AWS, Azure and other partners. The result was a global, low‑latency platform that improved user access and reliability, reduced operational costs, simplified scaling, and enabled operational efficiencies and economies of scale.
