Dealogic, a New York–based financial software company that provides industry reports to the world’s top banks, needed a real-time “investment banking scorecard” to display revenues by product, region and bank. Although its team designed an Azure-based architecture, Dealogic lacked cloud deployment expertise and engaged Equinix Professional Services for Cloud (EPS Cloud) to deliver a scalable, high-performance solution for The Wall Street Journal and other outlets.

EPS Cloud redesigned the SQL Azure deployment to add Azure caching, a worker role that parallel-populates the cache (running 30+ long queries simultaneously), and CDN caching for front-end assets. Latency dropped from as long as five seconds to just a few milliseconds, enabling daily cache refreshes without impacting users and delivering a reusable, scalable architecture and responsive, user-friendly dashboards.
