AG2R LA MONDIALE, a leading French group in social and patrimonial protection serving over 15 million customers, set out to modernize its IT amid regulatory pressure and growing digital competition. The company needed a flexible, scalable hybrid infrastructure to consolidate three data centers into one, keep critical applications on‑premises while leveraging public cloud, and meet compliance and future growth requirements.

Partnering with Equinix, AG2R deployed colocation in Equinix PA3 and PA6 and used Equinix Fabric for secure, on‑demand connectivity to Microsoft Azure (with multicloud redundancy options). The solution created a geo‑redundant hybrid platform that simplified cloud adoption, consolidated three data centers with no downtime, improved uptime (>99.999%), reduced operational and energy costs (including a 75% cut in data center energy usage), and provided a unified, auditable view of data and security.
