Town of Claremont boosts website users 40% with Equilibrium

The Town of Claremont, a local government council, faced challenges with its outdated and fragmented digital infrastructure. Multiple legacy websites with poor information architecture led to low online self-service usage and a high volume of phone and email inquiries. To consolidate these sites and improve the digital experience for its ratepayers, the town engaged Equilibrium to develop a new, unified website using the Umbraco CMS.

Equilibrium implemented a research-driven, co-design approach to create an intuitive website with an interactive 'Neighbourhood Map' and a business directory to facilitate self-service. The solution successfully consolidated several independent sites into a single hub. This resulted in a 40% increase in overall website traffic and an 83% increase in user engagement for the Town of Claremont.
