A national bank wanted to grow market share and increase marketing ROI by more accurately predicting which consumers would be high spenders over the next 12 months. The bank tested whether adding Equifax Dimensions’ real-time predictive attributes to its existing credit and Advanced Decisioning attributes would improve identification of high-value customers.
In a champion/challenger test the model augmented with Equifax Dimensions produced an 18% incremental lift in identifying top spenders across the top 10%, 20% and 30% capture rates, translating to incremental 12‑month revenue of about $1.44M (10%), $1.59M (20%) and $1.17M (30%). The solution improved targeting precision, reduced marketing costs and enabled more profitable, insight-driven customer acquisition and credit strategies.
