Egmond Associates Ltd. (EAL) is an engineering firm specializing in slope stability, environmental, geotechnical, hydrogeological, and hydrological assessments. Its project managers needed accurate topographic data and cross sections for slope stability reviews, but finding reliable information from multiple contour and historical map sources was time consuming, and sometimes required field measurement and manual profile creation.

Using Equator, EAL gained access to high-resolution LiDAR topographic data, including contours and cross sections, through an easy-to-use 3D mapping environment and line drawing tool.
