Rhenus Logistics, a global logistics service provider with over 33,500 employees, faced significant compliance risks due to its rapid international growth. Its decentralized structure meant it lacked a central overview of whistleblower reports from its various locations. The company needed a unified, digital whistleblowing system that supported anonymous reporting and could handle its international operations. Rhenus turned to vendor EQS Group for its EQS Integrity Line solution to address this challenge.

EQS Group implemented its digital whistleblower system, which supports 11 languages and enables decentralized case processing across Rhenus's international locations. The solution was rolled out globally and also adapted to capture GDPR-related data breach reports. Since implementation, Rhenus has received several dozen relevant compliance reports and uses the system's case management to track a key performance indicator: the time between receiving a report and providing feedback to the whistleblower. The EQS system has given the company a central overview of all cases, allowing it to counter compliance risks quickly and effectively.
