Case Study: GE Wellstream achieves rapid, 100% successful data migration with eQ Technologic

GE Wellstream's Oil & Gas division, specializing in subsea pipe manufacturing, faced the challenge of migrating its complex global data from multiple legacy systems, including IFS, to a new Teamcenter UA environment. The project involved distributed data sources across Brazil, the UK, and the US. To manage this transition, they partnered with vendor eQ Technologic, which utilized its eQube®-DaaS Platform.

eQ Technologic executed a phased global migration, integrating data from IFS, Teamcenter, Excel, and file systems. The solution ensured data accuracy and integrity, successfully migrating over 200 objects with a 100% success rate. The results included significant cost savings achieved by retiring the IFS platform and establishing a scalable, modernized foundation for future operations.
