Lockheed Martin faced significant challenges synchronizing and harmonizing product, manufacturing, and ERP data across its various classified, unclassified, and air-gapped environments. Their manual processes for tasks like NX Part Integration and BOM publication were complex and prone to errors. To address this, they worked with the vendor eQ Technologic and implemented the eQube®-DaaS Platform, which utilized a Common Data Model (CDM) for data exchange.

eQ Technologic implemented an automated, rule-based solution using the eQube®-DaaS Platform. This simplified complex multi-step workflows and unified standard parts management, classification, and NX integration. The results included over 200 Common Data Model-based exchanges and the automation of 13 CAD integrations and part classifications. Furthermore, the solution was efficiently deployed across environments using six automated CI/CD pipelines, enhancing both accuracy and operational speed.
